Haih, da lama x update blog. Malas. Hati yang sakit. Dan laptop yang sakit (button ‘Y’ ,’J’ and ’space’ ade masalah,arghh).

Numerical Literacy Project, Minggu Kesenian Islam, Merchant of Venice, Pengurusan Minggu Pelajar Baru. Ada sesape nak tambah? Jadi partner sparing aku dulu.

Aku benci MPP, aku benci Nuqaba’, aku benci jadi AJK Asrama. Yang sebenarnya, aku benci bureaucracy. Aku benci di arah membuat perkara irrelevant dan aku tidak berminat untuk mengarah menda yg irrelevant. Aku adalah aku. Jangan ‘manipulate’ aku utk diri korang. Jangan.

Bureaucracy will only kill your intelligence and creativity and self-esteem. Yea, for people who love to boast around, bureaucracy is a perfect platform. But not for me. Im not your donkey. Dont try to make me.

And AJK Asrama should stop making stupid thing like guarding at the pondok. WHY DO WE HAVE TO?EXPLAIN!!You claim if there is any emergency, students can come to us. What the heck is that? Who wanna come to us? They can go to the warden. Lebih DEKAT dan PANTAS dan EFFETIVE.

Atau pon berkawal kat pondok tu hanya untuk tunjuk yang AJK Asrama ada kerja?Heh, yea, again, bureaucracy is a perfect place for those who wanna shine.

Aku tidak berminat untuk memimpin. Jangan guna ayat ‘TEACHERS ARE LEADERS’. Learn to lead yourself first. Bcoz, ryte now, you don’t. You are simply a follower who lead ‘another task’ lead by those before you.

The second time I key in an entry for today. ^_^

I make this post just to remind me of the so many pending things that I NEED to do before I head to my hometown..

These are some things which are in the list:

1. Cutting out newspapers! I haven’t gone through the newspapers like forever!Need to catch up with things~

2. Complete my LDS Note. This is my priority. I cannot even imagine how would I flip the books next year for the final examination if I don’t! It’s monstrous! T_T [FYI, I never have LDS note which you can really call...NOTE.]

3. Read ‘Bila Tuhan Berbicara’ and ‘Angel & Demon’. Aliaa said A&D is nice. Let see if my taste is just as same as hers.

4. Read ‘10 Questions; A Sociological Perspective’ and ‘Toastmaster’.These are academic books…SO BORINGG…huwwaa!!

5. BELI SUBANG KAT ADEK AKU.Ish…aku ni pon xpnah pakai, dia suro beli kat dia? Hah..xper la..aku beli laa..mentang2 la kan dia nak SPM tahun ni. [Ade kaitan ke?]

The Star Education Fair 2009; my experience

Salam.

This evening I don’t have much thing to do so i decided to go to KLCC..there is an education fair there. Yea..just like a tpical education fair lorh..Usually the target is for the school-leavers who are waiting for their SPM result..So what was the point of me going there?Mm..just an activity to kill my time~ 

So..apa yang aku buat dekat situ..

Well, I lied laaa…saying that I am currently waiting for my SPM result..haha..I am so bored lah..hee.

2.

Observing thigs..How they attract people to come..and here are some of my opinion about it:

-Wear attractive, eyes-catching uniform

Instead of wearing the old, dull blue-black shirts, why dont change it to a more energetic colour?One or two that I have noticed are SeGi students who wore in bright blue..Nice lah.i like that one. and KLIUC (not sure lorh) wore in bright green. and another one, wearing the automobile suit(err,not sure what you call it, but one like racer wear) in orange and white.Good lorh!It is easier to attract people when you are actually giving out flyer and guide books!

-Be nice,pls!

Well, some of them were not even care to look and smile and say thank you!I know you are tired, I understand that but it is just sooo annoying when you give out flyers without even turn your face to the people!

-Stop wasting!!

…The flyers and guide books in another words, the PAPERS!!I know you have to finish out your flyers and it is not an easy job to be done. Instead of giving them out to random people why dont you specify a little bit. Like some of the promoters asked something like this ‘Adik berminat nak buat Medic tak?’(Oh Gosh,I feel young,haha!!)Seriously, make a target.If not you will waste the flyers to the un-potential people!(like me) and FYI, all flyers promote by the one asking me about the medic, I rejected it nicely but instead they got my credits for the day. Thank you for at least make something to save the earth (even though you might not even realising it and intended to).

And maybe you can do something like Taylor’s..just put all of them on the table and it is up to the people to take it or not.Hoho.But I guess it works for Taylor’s because Taylor’s is simply a well-known college.

-Students as the promoter

Hmm..honestly speaking, this is kinda a good strategy rather then sending someone who works at the college. Students usually are more understanding and dont bother much to have a quick talk..hehe.Coz I hardly ask them about the entry lorh..I ask trivia questions..just killing my time with them.Hoho.

-Seminar

Hmm, as far as I was concern, Institute of Education Hong Kong held a seminar.That was quite a good strategy I guess. But I don’t go la..I just wanna see the pattern.I wished to go but the seminar is time-consuming and I was so tired bringing all those guide-books..It is SO HEAVY!!

But of course, I have also seen some flaws which I think worth for me to write here.

-My target is to finish all of the form!!

Let me put the dialogue here:

Abang X:Baru lepas SPM ke?

Emkay: Tak lah,tengah study

Abang X: Minat kos apa?

Emkay: Tak minat.((haha..))

Abang X: Mintak 5minit je dik, 5 minit je.

Emkay: Ok

Abang X: ((in whisper)), Wei, tolong aku isi borang ni ,tolong ar.

Emkay: ((Dalam hati))What the fuck?!

Abang X:((buat muka xhensem))

Emkay:((roll eyes))Ok

Abang X: Ko tick je la mana2-mana ponn!

What the fuck!!Aku pon tak tahu kenapa aku pergi isi form tuu..adehh..tolong ar..ini bukanlah satu sikap yang baik!

And also another one, I dont know whether I should state from which company he was but let me tell you, not from any college or university. It is a..job employment company. It happened while they ask me to fill in the survey form.

Dialogue

Abang Y: Kamu isi je laa mana-mana pon yang kamu suka.Tembak je.

Emkay: ((I am honestly in shock))Tembak?Kalau saya tembak macam mana kamu buat statistic kalau maklumat yang diberi tak accurate??

Abang Y: Err..((give a fake laugh))

Goshh!!for God Sake!You tell people to TEMBAK in SURVEY??

So I head for the counter..pretending to be interested on the books they sell. And there was another conversation but this time, I guess she managed to handle me nicely.

Kakak Z: Yes, may I help you?which career your are interested in?

Emkay:Mmm..well I am interested in Teaching field and education.

Kakak Z:((blur))..owh..err..I guess we don’t have anything related to that.

Emkay:Its ok,i understand.

Kakak Z: ((leave me to browse the magazine alone and came back))

Emkay: Err..may I ask you something?

Kakak Z: Yes?

Emkay: To what extent do you believe that the survey that your company is  currently handling is reliable?Coz, you know, some people might just fill in the form and they might not even know what they fill in.

Kakak Z:Mm..well, in our company there are the experts who know how to analyze the data. I am sure they will know what to do to ensure that the data presented is reliable.

Emkay:Hmm((I am satisfied and disclose))Actually I am already on my way to degree.

Kakak Z:Owh yes?What course is it?

Emkay: TESL

Kakak Z: ((blur))Owh..

Emkay: I suppose you don’t know what is it ((laugh mildly))

Kakak Z:Hehe.May I know what is it?

Emkay: It’s Teaching English as a Second Language. I am going to UK.

Kakak Z: Owh,congratulations!I am sure the university that you choose..

Emkay: I don’t choose it, Ministry of Education choose it for me.((smile sweetly))

Kakak Z:Owh,which part of UK is that?

Emkay:((eyeing her)) Kent.

Kakak Z:((concealed confusion))Err..north?south?

Emkay: It’s in the south eastern. Near the Plymouth area.

Kakak Z:Owh..ok.

Emkay: But I dont know, I dont hope much with the economy crysis right now, govt. might short of budget!

Kakak Z:Haha..we will see..we will see.((smile sweetly))

Basically..Kakak Z has covered the damage done by Abang Y.I am satisfied with Kakak Z answer about the survey thingy. Even though sometime she pretend to be understand what I am talking about but she is kinda good in concealing it. But still I can smell it.Haha. But I know she tried hard to conceal it and I do give her credits for that.

And there was this guy..from nursing college..I think he must be so shy..I was actually standing besides him, reading some flyers and I can sense that he was hesitating whether wanna give me the nursing college flyers or not and at last he did.

Abang Kylie XY: Err..adik berminat, berminat tak nak jadi nurse?(hand me the flyer)

Emkay: Mm..tak kot..

Abgn Kylie XY: Owh..ok..

Emkay: Terima Kasih((smile sweetly))

Abang Kylie XY: Err,ye ye..sama-sama.(in a timid way))

Stupid questions:

I asked this question to one of the college

1. I see that there is a word of ‘American’ in your college name. With the political situation right now, don’t you think that it might affect the entry to your college?

He got a hard time understanding my question!Hehe.but its ok, It is not related so he must be shocked with my stupid question..

Ahh…hmm..I think it was a worth-while outing..I am just doing it for fun..I am so sorry because you have to waste a copy of your guide-books and flyers to the un-potential people like me..hoho. Ethically, I should not do that.
